Does God still heal today?

Velveta

From the ashes the Father brings life. From disappointment and helplessness, He brings comfort and hope. From Coma, meningitis, bleed on the brain & septicemia the Father releases healing. God has done it before and he can do it again. However, we need to trust in his everlasting love, goodness and mercy.

‘Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…’

We need to pray for our marriages

We need to pray for our marriages

I am so saddened to the point of weeping this morning. It has become the norm for Christian leaders to easily put one wife away and pick up another. It hurts to see this door opened. It hurts for the grieving wife who has done no biblical wrong but served her husband’s vision for years!
Let’s pray saints for so many hurting women who took their vows seriously. Please pray for the ex-wives and their children. I literally weep for them.
We need more church leaders to stand up and speak up ‘ the word of God!’ Let’s pray against this epidemic, it’s the plan of the enemy to cause pain and confusion to the body, but we as the church have the greater power through the power of prayer!! ?? It’s seriously time to pray!! Father Protect the family unit! Steve & I continue to pray fervently in this particular area of the family life.

God the Healer – We, the conduits of His Love

God the Healer – We, the conduits of His Love

Dear Friends, BMI Loving & servingI wrote over a year ago about my neighbour who we befriended and have become really close to. She has been fighting cancer for two years. An Italian family who very much kept themselves to themselves until we loved her too much to go unnoticed… 🙂

Steve and I have walked this road with her and her family through tears, fears and frustrations. I prayed for healing over her as we held hands and told her of the healing power of Jesus! We have seen the change in her and her family, she prayed the sinners prayer with me and her whole countenance changed over the year. We shower her with gifts, CD’s, Books, flowers etc and they cannot believe a family who is not related by blood could be so loving! We are in her home all the time and when she is afraid, we pray with her and the peace of God always descends in her home.

She has had Chemo and the hospital told her because of how weak she is, they have to stop the Chemo. Well, she had a scan and was told by the hospital that she is completely cancer free! We cried together as she embraced us!!! Her whole family are bowled over with the love they have seen, the love of Christ! What we are all called to display in our neighborhood, community, work places, our church and everywhere we have influence.

We are the only Jesus that some people will ever see! Let us allow His love to beam through, looking for every opportunity to lead people in love to a new life in the love of Jesus. Just simply – Love! Take time to talk to people, showing them kindness, this will speak loudly as people are in need of loving friendships. They will eventually ask you what’s different about you, this will open the door for you to tell them about the love of Christ! We are surrounded everywhere by people who need Love! Jesus is Love!

Prayer is focused on God

SteveSlider5

Velveta 2Thought for the day… Prayer is focused on God! Prayer changes your position, your perspective! You are no longer looking up at the problem, but now looking down at how small it really is. ‘I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!’

We are bigger than that circumstance, bigger than that trial, bigger than that problem. Why? ‘Greater is He that is IN you!’ His name is El-Shaddai, our all sufficient God, every answer is found in HIm; Jehovah Jirah – our provider, ‘For He will supply All our needs according to his riches in Glory through Christ Jesus!’

Use the WORD – in PRAYER! This is the weapon that defeats fear, discouragement, disappointments, doubt, worry and any name that keeps us small!! Look up and see our Great God, look down and see how small that problem really is in the shadow of Almighty God!

Prayer helps us to see with the eyes of faith, we see what God sees! Change perspective and you will release the peace of God that far exceeds our own understanding. Supernatural peace! Christ in us the hope of Glory!

His power is in us to succeed! Prayer is the key, use it to open the door to Peace!

So today…….don’t neglect to PRAY

Shalom!
