Consultation with BMI
‘Creative Arts School of Excellence’
“Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.” (1 Chr 28:20)
More and more of our time is spent consulting with churches and their worship teams. This area of
the ministry continues to offer exciting, but challenging ministry possibilities. No two churches and no two teams are alike and when you have issues of concern, with whom do you speak? Sometimes Pastors and leaders don’t know what to say or do in challenging situations. There are some issues you don’t take outside of your church.
That’s where we can help. We are neutral sounding boards and can offer years of experience, knowledge and wisdom in working in worship and music situations ranging from the “one-man band” to teams incorporating full orchestras and choirs. We’re good listeners. We know how to ask questions. And best of all, we know how to pray!
We are available to come to where you are or to offer consulting services by telephone. We are also happy to have you and/or your team come to us in Essex, UK if you so desire.
What BMI PARTNERS ARE saying
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Steve Thompson on numerous occasions on Songs of Praise, not least with our FA Cup Fans and Rugby League Challenge Cup choirs singing Abide with Me at Wembley Stadium in 2015 and 2016 respectively. His music talent and music knowledge is obvious and he has huge enthusiasm for the subject matter. He’s great with congregations and amateur or professional choirs alike – here’s to working together again soon”.Matthew Napier |
“Steve and Velveta are not only gifted people with vast experience in their fields of expertise, but they have a depth of authenticity that is a rare treasure. They have taught and mentored countless musicians and singers over many years but impart much more than skills. They discern potential, inspire confidence and imprint a sense of the unique God-given worth of each individual. We are privileged to have known and worked with them personally for many years and commend them highly”.Graham Kendrick |
