Thanksgiving Service for Velveta Thompson’s healing

The 13th August 2017 was a day which will be etched on our minds, memories and hearts for many years to come. On invite, many friends, family and churches travelled to City Gates Church (thanks to the local church) to celebrate and thank God for healing Velveta’s body. From the brink of death, Velveta Thompson was rescued from a major attack on her body, from Meningitis, Pneumonia to micro haemorrhages on the brain. She was given 40% survival, but through the prayers and worship of the local church, many churches and organisations throughout the world, her body miraculously came back to life. The entire evening service was focused on giving God thanks for her life (a thanksgiving service that was being planned even whilst she was in the Critical Care Unit).

Through the faith of her husband Steve Thompson, daughters, Esther & Velisha, son-in-law Jermaine and other family members, they led the congregation in exuberant praise & worship. Special thanks to Chris Alozie (AFGVideography) for the filming and editing of the Thanksgiving service.
