DESCRIPTION:Are you interested\nAre you interested in studying Theology and Music\, or developing your creative gifting in the context of theology and worship studies? \nJoin us on 7 December for a great opportunity to find out about our music and worship programmes at LST. Whether you’re a talented musician\, a budding worship leader\, or wish to develop other forms of creativity in the worship context\, our Music and Worship Experience Day will provide a valuable taster of what we offer. \nWe would love to meet you and give you the opportunity to experience a day in the life of the LST community. Come and experience a day in the life of an LST student\, hosted by the Theology\, Music and Worship Department. You can participate in our weekly communion service\, join in a choice of lectures from our three dedicated programmes\, enjoy a mini-concert\, and have lunch together. We’ll talk you through the admissions process\, and you can chat with students and faculty\, hear from recent graduates of our programmes\, and tour the campus. \n\n\nIf you think\nIf you think our Theology & Music\, Theology & Creative Musicianship\, or Theology & Worship Studies programmes might be for you\, this is your opportunity to find out more about our unique courses. DESCRIPTION:FAITH\, SEEKING\, UNDERSTANDING \nExploring Scripture\, Worship and Christian Living \nSaturday 10 June 2023\, 10:00 – 15:30\, London School of Theology\nWhat is worship? What does it really look like to worship God with our whole hearts? \nFor anyone interested in the musical expression of worship in church\, and wanting to find out more about what Biblically-based worship truly looks like\, join us for a not-to-be-missed training day on Saturday 10 June 2023 (10.00-15.30) which comes as part of our Faith Seeking Understanding series\, entitled ‘Celebrating God and his gifts through worship’. \nPerfect for worship teams to attend together\, we will have something for everyone; the day is specifically designed for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of worship and partake in meaningful worship experiences. \nSteve Thompson\, musician\, LST faculty member and Graham Kendrick’s Music Director for 28 years\, will have us ‘Psalm surfing’ and then will hold a Masterclass in preparing for worship – invaluable for every worship band.  LST Music Programme Leader\, Rebecca Uberoi will help us think theologically about music as gift and resource for the body of Christ. Together\, they bring their years of experience and passion for helping people connect to God through worship. \nThe day is set to be interactive and hands-on\, with plenty of opportunities for you to practice what you’ve learned and get feedback from your peers. You’ll also have the chance to connect with other worship leaders from around the area and share your experiences and insights. You can attend in person (bring other members of your church’s worship team so you can learn together!) on our Northwood campus\, or online. \nThe day is set to begin with a plenary session\, followed by breakout groups – which means you can think through together about what worship could like in your local church. We’ll be looking into the theological foundations of worship\, the role of music and how to choose songs that connect your congregation to a deeper theological understanding\, the importance of diversity in worship and how to create a worshipful atmosphere – transformational stuff! \nAt just £10 per head onsite\, and £8 online\, we believe it’s an accessible way to bless your church.
