Directions:

City Gates Church is located in East London, Ilford. IG1 1BH.

There is a multi-storey car park directly opposite the church building.

The venue is highly accessible via the Elizabeth line and the Central line.

Travel by Rail (Elizabeth line)

Ilford station is the primary arrival point for the City Gates Church, Ilford.

Route: Take the Elizabeth line (Eastbound toward Shenfield or Abbey Wood, though Shenfield branch is direct).

Frequency: Trains run approximately every 5–10 minutes from central hubs like Liverpool Street or Stratford.

Walking Directions: Exit the station and turn right onto Cranbrook Road. Walk for about 2 minutes, then turn left onto Clements Road. The church will be on your left.

Travel by Tube (Central line)

For those using the Underground, Gants Hill Station is the nearest option.

Route: Take the Central line (Eastbound via the Hainault branch) to Gants Hill.

Onward Travel: From Gants Hill, it is a short 5-minute bus ride (Routes 128, 150, or 167) or a 20-minute walk south down Cranbrook Road toward Ilford town centre.

Nearby Alternatives

Seven Kings Station is the next stop on the Elizabeth line. It is roughly a 15-20 minute walk or a quick bus ride (Route 86) to the church.
