Our Story

Steve and Velveta Thompson have served in the music ministry for over 40 years. Both pastors’ children started ministering in their fathers’ West Midlands churches 13 years before they met. They both went on in ministry to work with their good friend and mentor, Graham Kendrick, in production, songwriting, conferences and other overseas work. After 35 years, they continue to travel with Graham and other artists.

Steve and Vel have a heart for musicians and have pastored (encouraged and guided) many professional musicians, both in the secular field and those based in the local church setting.

The Thompsons are also known for their worship leading, seminar teaching, songwriting, music directing and accompanying various international worship leaders and secular artists. They are also regular music arrangers, directors and worship leaders for BBC Songs of Praise.

Over the years, Steve has also produced a series of albums for both British-based artists and international artists.

God expects you to do what you can, whatever is in your hands and wherever you are. Less-than-perfect service is always better than the best intention…’ says Steve.

They are the parents of two daughters, Velisha Mahalia Lynch and Esther Vanessaand son-in-law, Jermaine Lynch. They are also Grandparents to Jayda and Maiya. The Thompsons live in Solihull, United Kingdom.

What We Believe

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Belief in God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit is at the heart of our faith. Christians believe that Jesus is God’s Son. Jesus reveals to us that God is our Father, and that God is available to us through the Holy Spirit.

God has revealed himself through the Bible. God has revealed himself most clearly through the gift of his Son, Jesus Christ.

God makes himself known personally to each believer through the work of the Holy Spirit.
